The Event Calendar

The Event Calendar is a web-based calendar that displays all of your live events. The name of the event appears as a clickable link and brings the viewer to your event campaign's landing page or, if you didn't create one, directly to your registration form.

Cancelled events, events in draft status, and events that you've manually chosen not to display on the calendar won't appear.

Tip: We also have an Event Widget you can add to your website or social networks.

Add or Remove Events From the Calendar

When you make your event live, it's automatically displayed on your calendar. When it comes to Events that span multiple days however, only the first day will display on the calendar.
  1. Click Eventspot and then click the name of your Event.

  2. Scroll down to the Promote your event section and check the "Add this event to my event calendar" box or uncheck the box to remove it from the calendar.

Events stay on your calendar until you remove them, so people will see the registration page or landing page for Events that have ended. Use this to your advantage and give your contacts an idea of the types of Events your organization runs.

When you add an Event to your calendar, it also enables your contacts to share the event on their social networks from the registration page and view the event in the RSS Feed from your website.

Find, Share, and Add the Calendar URL to Your Webpage

  1. Click Eventspot and then click the name of your Event.

  2. Scroll down to the Promote your event section and click on the link in the Calendar URL field to highlight it and then copy it.

Now you can paste the URL where you'd like to distribute it. When your recipients click on the URL, it opens a new webpage, displaying your calendar. You can also preview what your calendar looks like by clicking the "View Calendar" link.

If you want to add the Calendar URL to your website, paste the URL directly into your webpage's source code or the editor you use to design it. Adding the URL to your webpage does require some HTML knowledge so if you aren't comfortable using HTML code, email the link to your webmaster and ask them to add it for you.
