How do I find my survey results?

Article: 000001987 Product: Online Survey

View survey results

After distributing a survey, you can see a summary and detailed view of participants' responses from within your Constant Contact account. Your respondents will not see the results (unless you  share the overall results with them).

View Overall Survey Results

A survey's Overall Results view provides a summary of respondents' answers and includes graphs showing the percentage of respondents that selected each answer option. It does not display responses to open-ended text questions.

To view a survey's summary of overall results:

  1. After logging into Constant Contact, click Survey > My Surveys/Polls.
  2. In the row for the survey of interest, click the number in the Responses column.
  3. To see which respondents selected a particular answer option, click the hyperlinked number of responses next to the answer.
Note: Only paying Online Survey customers can see which respondents selected a particular answer. See an example of a list of respondents who selected the same answer.

You can share the results on the Overall Results page with participants and visitors to your website or social media pages.

View Individual Survey Results

The Individual Results view shows you how specific participants answered each question. Some participants may be labeled anonymous.

To view a survey's individual results:

  1. After logging into Constant Contact, click Survey > My Surveys/Polls.
  2. In the row for the survey of interest, click the number in the Responses column.
  3. Click "Individual Results" near the top of the page.
Note: If you are in the Free Trial, you can only view the individual responses from the first ten participants. You can, however, export up to 100 responses to view in a file.

Tip: Sign up to receive email alerts when your surveys receive new responses.

Notes:

  • If you see a message stating "You have new response(s) that cannot be viewed", upgrade to a paid account to see more responses. If you have already upgraded, you may need to log out of, and back into, your account for the changes to take effect.
  • You can also see invitation email reports (showing who opened the invitation, etc.).
  • You can only view the results from one survey at a time.
  • Percentages include the N/A answers and cannot be filtered.
