What is the "Change of Interest" email?

The Change of Interest email

The Change of Interest email is an automatic confirmation sent to a subscriber when the subscriber has updated his or her Interests

Note:  This is different from the Update Profile Email. The Change of Interest email is only sent after the subscriber has updated, and only if those updates included a change of interest.

Why are there two sets of instructions? We're in the middle of providing all of our customers with enhanced contact management, reporting and new features. As a result, for a limited time you may be seeing one of two possible pages. By showing you both sets of instructions, we make sure you have the help you need.
 


Previous Contacts Page

  1. After logging into Constant Contact, click Contacts > Sign-Up Tools.
  2. Click "Edit" by Change of interest email.
  3. Edit the email.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Next until you see a screen with a check box next to "Activate your changes". Be sure to check the box, if you want the changes you just made to appear publicly.
  6. Click Finish.

Notes:

  • If you do not activate your changes, the new version will not be sent.
  • Find out how to add more lists for your contacts to choose from.
  • The change of interest email is an automatic confirmation that subscribers receive when they update their interests. You can make changes to the look of this email, but you cannot choose not to have this email sent.

Improved Contacts Page

  1. After logging into Constant Contact, click Contacts > Sign-Up Tools.
  2. Click "Change of Interest Email" under Contact Emails.
  3. Edit the email.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Next until you see a screen with a check box next to "Activate your changes". Be sure to check the box, if you want the changes you just made to go into effect.
  6. Click Finish.
